The Limit Latex Workshop Hood edition
Learn the process of making a latex hood from A to Z on our one day workshop and go home with your self made latex hood ready to wear!
** This course is open for people who already have some experience with working with latex **
The workshop is from 10:30 AM to 5:00 PM in Utrecht op ZONDAG 7 DECEMBER, Zonnebaan 12 in Utrecht. Free parkeren.
€160 incl materials, drinks, snacks and lunch.
The workshop will be given in Dutch unless there are non-Dutch participants. In that case we will switch to English.
Starting from the beginning to many other useful tips and tricks like:
- Which tools are used
- How to cut
- How to glue
- Applying liquid latex
- Adding zippers
- Using/adjusting patterns
What you will make during this workshop:
A latex hood in a color of your choice. It will initially be a basic hood, without a ponytail, pigtails or attachments for a blindfold/mouth cover. If you have time left, you can still choose to add that.
At the beginning of the workshop we will try on masks to see which size you need (XS, S, M, L or combination of sizes) and adjust the pattern if needed.
What will be available for you during the workshop:
- Great company
- A lot of information, but not too much that will make your head explode ;)
- A healthy balance between theory and practise
- There are enough cutting mats, cutters, scissors, glue etc you can use during the workshop
- Latex for your hood*
- Coffee, tea, water, fruit, snacks and a basic lunch.
*We have limited colour range in the studio which you can use (discover here)
What you will take home after the workshop
- Small bottle of latex glue
- The perfect pen to draw on latex
- Your latex hood + pattern
Workshops will take place if there are enough participants (minimum 4 people per workshop). If there are not enough participants, you can freely register for another date. If you are unable to schedule another date, you will receive a full refund.
If you want to cancel for other reasons a full refund will be provided when doing so 3 days in advance. After that a refund will only be given if we or you can find someone else to take your spot.
You will be standing most of the time, so wear comfortable shoes.
